Chuck was lying out on the couch; the light from the TV flashing a mixture of whites, blue’s and purples across their bodies, illuminating the room for split seconds. And it was those split seconds that he caught glimpses of the man curled into him, head resting on his chest, his own arms wrapped around the slender waist, as if he was afraid if he let go it would all slip away. Who could blame him with all the unhappiness he’d seen, to witness this moment of perfection; it was mind-blowing.


When the next flash came, grey eyes met blue and he smiled, running a hand through the ruffled blond hair. Adam chuckled and curled into the tough, squeezing him just slightly before relaxing, his chuckle turning into laughter at something on the TV and Chuck can’t help thinking how beautiful it sounds. He closes his eyes, just letting it imprint on his memory before bending over to place a kiss to the younger man’s forehead.


Adam tilted his head back more, at a probably uncomfortable angel, to press their lips softly together. Chuck lets it linger, just the soft press of lips, something small and yet so big.


“I love you.” Adam whispers against his lips and Chuck smiled.


“I love you too.”


He really, really did.

I...was deragging into this pairing by Casie...it started off as a random, weird rp to p[ass the time while Kimi was at collage.

this rp is now over 60k and only halfway done.
